Precision is coming to Allison Park
A new Precision Fly & Tackle shop, built for western Pennsylvania anglers. Here is what is going in, and what is waiting outside the door.
3114 William Flinn Hwy
Allison Park, PA 15101

Getting the shop ready
Paint, shelves, and racks are going in now. These photos are from the build, and we will keep adding more as it comes together.

How's the fishing around the new shop?
Pennsylvania has more good fishing than most anglers ever get to. Western PA is a big part of that, and it does not always get the credit. Here is where we are looking first.
Trout
Pine Creek, in Allison Park
The stocked Delayed Harvest section gets browns, rainbows, and goldens. It is close enough to fish after work.
Trout and smallmouth
Deer Creek and Bull Creek
Stocked trout streams that drain to the Allegheny, and among the first in the area to get fish each spring. By mid-June, smallmouth start working up out of the river.
Smallmouth
Slippery Rock Creek
Best known for smallmouth. The white fly hatch in early August can put bass on dry flies, and a catch and release fly fishing only stretch holds trout in cooler months.
Smallmouth and walleye
The Allegheny River
Year-round water with smallmouth, walleye, and plenty of room to explore.
Steelhead, about two hours north
Lake Erie tributaries
Elk, Walnut, and Twenty Mile Creeks are the classic names. Fall runs follow the rain, so watch the forecast. You will need a Lake Erie permit on top of your license.
