Fishing the Bighorn River, A World-Class Tailwater

(3 Days of Guided Floats)

The Bighorn River is renowned for its rich insect life, steady flows, and unbelievable trout numbers. Miles of riffles, long glides, and deep seams make for exhilarating float fishing with constant action.

What to Expect on the Bighorn

What to Expect on the Bighorn

  • Huge populations of wild browns and rainbows
  • Average fish from 16–20 inches, with plenty over the mark
  • Classic Western hatches: BWO, PMD, tricos, caddis, midges
  • Professional guides who know every seam and drift on the river

Floating the Bighorn offers continuous opportunities—whether you prefer nymph rigs, throwing dries to picky heads, or stripping streamers along the banks.

Walk & Wade the North Tongue River

Walk & Wade the North Tongue River

The North Tongue River offers a completely different style of fishing: clear mountain water, pocket water structure, and trout that reward finesse and accuracy.

What Makes the North Tongue Special

  • Smaller, intimate water perfect for dry-dropper and sight fishing
  • Wild and vibrant cutthroat trout living in fast, oxygen-rich flows
  • Technical yet rewarding fishing with stunning high-country scenery
  • Ideal change of pace from big-water floats

This hosted wade day gives anglers plenty of opportunities for close-range, visual fishing.
