The outsole is constructed of the same best-in-class Michelin® wet rubber traction of the Outdoor Extreme. An Intuition® foam insole offers welcome shock absorption and support by molding around your foot over time for a near-custom fit without paying custom insole premiums. The mid-cut collar height maintains ankle stability, with a lighter weight to increase angler agility and speed when covering miles. Same goes for the secure footing provided by the unique, one-piece 360° padded wrap reminiscent of a ski boot: It’s all about secure footing while saving weight. An abrasion-resistant PU-cast Kurim® Mudguard gives you added durability and foot protection, with a lower-profile speed lace system to make lacing up quick and the perfect tension—even while wearing light gloves. Instead, the team worked to tighten tolerances for even smoother operation and updated key facets of the design like improved hand feel on the drag knob, a curved reelfoot that won’t kink leaders, and new, understated colors that complement the aesthetic of Superfine, Classic Bamboo, or even freshwater Helios® and Recon® rods. Includes the stout Hydros SL drag system, which incorporates six interacting carbon and stainless drag surfaces. Positive click drag is simple and easy to adjust.
