The hi-viz post allows you to see the Hi-Viz Flying Cinnamon Ant, even with the highest glare of the summer. Fantastic alpine lake/pond pattern as well.
The Green Drake Carnage is a super realistic green drake pattern with foam extended body, tiny legs and easy to see post makes this an incredibly productive pattern during the hatch.
Electric Green Drake is one of the most realistic Green Drake (Ephemera guttulatais) patterns that we offer. The green drake is one of the largest mayflies that trout have available to them. They generally hatch mid-day, and will cause trout to focus only on this fly pattern. The nymph emerges to the surface of the water quickly, and after drying its wings, flies off. This leaves little time for trout to grab a bite, so they become very opportunistic when they see the electric green drake dry fly.
Two layers of foam are better than one! The added floatation will help suspend heavier droppers, or multiple droppers. This is one of those flies that -- after a day on the water -- you'll wonder "How'd I ever fish without this?"
This pattern imitates the prolific Hendrickson mayfly that hatches early in the season on most waters east of the Mississippi. The hendrickson actually imitates a group of mayflies that are quite similar in appearance. It can also be used as an attractor pattern.
The Gorilla Damsel Dragonfly is constructed of bouyant foam, flash and wiggly legs. This is a recipe for a fly that is irresistible to trout and bass. Use this fly to imitate Damsel Adults and Dragonfly Adults. You can tell how realistic this fly is when the real insect tries to "hook up" with this fly.
