Handcrafted and Made in the USADesigned by Brandon Moon, Moonlit Fly Fishing The Big Hog furled fly leader has a perfect blend of Premium Fluorocarbon and Polyester thread to give you the perfect medium all-purpose leader not just dry flies and hopper dropper setups but also has enough power for casting nymphs and small streamers.  Breaking Strength:0-3wt (8lb), 4-6wt (12lb), 7-8wt (18lb), and 9-10wt (24lb). Leader Length:0-3wt is 4.5ft and 4-10wt is 5ft long. This furled leader has a high performance tapered designed with years of experience & feedback that gives you great turnover, great presentation, and little to no memory to straighten out. This fly leader is USA MADE with very high quality materials. The Big Hog furled leader comes with your choice of a tip end: tippet ring (recommended), micro swivel, or a shorb loop.  The tip ring and micro swivel make the change and transition of different size tippet smooth and effortless.  The micro swivel also helps reduce tippet the twisting from big heavy flies. Apply line floatant to float for dries. When it comes to making leaders float we recommend using the Nirvana Floatant Gel for making your furled leader float. The Floatant is also designed to use on flies. Attach to fly line via loop to loop connection. Our tippet rings are now manufactured in Japan and are of the highest quality and smoothness so you can use tippet sizes as small as you want without issues.
