View full detailsWithout question, the Callibaetis is the most important stillwater Mayfly in the western United States. Prolific hatches occur on reservoirs, lakes and ponds beginning in May and continuing through August. The Colossalbaetis Dry is a near-perfect imitation of the Callibaetis dun as it rests on the surface drying its wings before taking flight. The Colossalbaetis Dry is tied with an inverted hook and dun-cut hackle to assure an upright and natural presentation on the water with every cast. Fish the Colossalbaetis Dry on your favorite stillwater between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. when trout are actively feeding on the surface and you'll enjoy some of the best dry fly action of the summer.

View full detailsBuggy, buggy buggy...this low riding sedge or caddis imitation never stood a chance at a complete drift without a bite. Floats well, but can be hard to see due to it's profile. Don't let that scare you though...that's what makes it so deadly. We recommended a tandem set up with patterns such as the Elk Caddis as the first or top dry with a section of about 12-18 inches of mono tippet to this pattern.
