The Clearwater rod in the 7’6” length is perfect for doing any small river and creek fishing in any area that has a canopy of trees and brush along the banks. The Battenkill reel is the quintessential fly reel in my humble opinion. The folks at Precision Fly are all so knowledgeable. Will def be buying from them in the future.
Very good rod for the price
It is very slow on uptake, the rod itself does not throw appropriate line when loaded, i belive the materials are porly made in the rod
Nice combination of power and feel….at a great price point
I arrived to buy my rod in-person but it was out of stock. The staff was able to answer all of my questions and sent a rod out to my house from the store ridiculously fast. I had my rod before opening day, and caught 15 trout yesterday!
