    The Bird's Nest pattern has been around for decades, and continues to be a part of most anglers fly box. The Depth Charge Bird's Nest Natural takes all of the best of the orignal pattern, and adds a pair of tungsten beads to get the fly deep quickly. The pattern is considered to be an Attractor Pattern. With the soft hackle tied to the front of the fly, it imitates a struggling mayfly emerging in the water column, and when swing downstream, does well during a caddis hatch. This is a very versatile fly.
