There are over 600 mayfly nymph species, of which most are brown, and very similar in appearance to the pheasant tail nymph. Originally tied by Frank Sawyer, this pattern has been tweaked over the years, and continues to sell well because of its effectiveness. Keep a good selection of this trout fly.

    The old adage states "if your nymph isn't getting stuck, you're not fishing where you should be" The Jiggy series uses a 60 degree jig hook, allowing the angler to fish the fly directly on the bottom where nymphs live.
