It was fashioned with a classic look and designed with a standard narrow arbor and spool width.  This series is especially popular in the smaller sizes for any length rod. The CL5 and CL6 are popular for salmon switch and smaller Spey rods that require space to hold these larger lines. An increased backing capacity compared to the CK and CR reel makes the CL popular for fish that potentially take you into the backing. The reel retrieve both incoming and outgoing is silent.
