Works really well in smaller sizes when fishing in ponds and lakes for warm-water species as well as trout. Use it as the lead fly on a short leader and drop off another bugger in a different color and watch your line straighten! Larger sizes work in still water as well, of course, but we prefer to throw the larger-size olive buggers when fishing in rivers for trout.
