View full detailsThe Perdigon has nothing to stop it from dropping to the bottom and resembling the size and silhouette of just about any mayfly nymph. The old adage states "if your nymph isn't getting stuck, you're not fishing where you should be" The Jiggy series uses a 60 degree jig hook, allowing the angler to fish the fly directly on the bottom where nymphs live. Increased drifts without hanging up on the bottom is the biggest advantage this style nymph offers. This orientation also helps with a more positive hook up, typically pinning the fish top dead center allowing a faster and safer release.!
