    DESCRIPTION

    The SL series is the most popular of the Shilton salt water range with a remarkable track record starting from 2002 in the most remote and hostile environments targeting anything from bonefish and tigerfish to marlin and arapaima. The robust design is crafted from solid 6082 T6 high grade bar stock aluminium and features a custom-processed cork drag with enclosed one-way plungers. The range is available in sizes from the SL6 to SL14 for line weights 6 to 14. This is the reel of choice for many large guiding operations due to its simple, robust and “bulletproof” design. The reel has an incoming and outgoing click. The SL range is available in titanium, black, blue, turquoise, purple, red, gold, green, lime, orange SL6: 6-7wt SL8: 7-8wt SL9: 9-10wt SL12: 11-12wt SL14: 14-16wt

    The Shilton SR Series is the latest addition to our already sterling range of reels. The SR range have been designed from the ground up with the saltwater angler in mind, rugged functionality with high grade 6082 T6 aluminium to give you the edge you need in any saltwater scenario. We have increased the overall diameter of the cork drag, resulting in less start-up inertia and more stopping power, as well as adding one extra plunger (from 2 to 3), for extra drag engagement and durability.
