John was very generous in sharing this fly with Discountflies so that others could be as successful as he. This fly is tied on a Gama SL-11 3H. The Gamakatsu SL-11 3H is one of the strongest and sharpest hooks available, and worth every penny when you hook-up with a fish of a lifetime! Additionally, new production also includes a weed guard, which can easily be trimmed off if it is not necessary.

John Andrew, one of the most successful DIY fly fishermen to fish the Bahamas, showed us this fly last year, and then proceeded to out fish everyone with it. John was very generous in sharing this fly with Discountflies so that others could be as successful as he. Through his extensive testing John found that the dark version works especially well in waters with a darker bottom or in areas with turtle grass. This fly is tied on a Gama SL-11 3H. The Juju Emerger is a brillant mayfly emerger pattern. As we've stated previously, Shane Stalcup was one of the fly tying giants we admired when learning to tie and fish. This pattern has aspects of Stalcup's Swimming May and CDC Emerging Dun, but done with materials and from the mind of another giant in the fly tying world. While we occasionally fish this alone, we like to trail this behind a Hi-Viz Parachute BWO or Parachute Adams.
