    A perfect fit means more miles in comfort, and covering water is what the PRO BOA Wading Boot's all about. Featuring the BOA Fit System this is, by far, the most advanced wading boot ever. The PRO Wading Boot was an industry-first collaborative effort with Michelin®, built on an outsole compound specifically designed for fly fishing. This revolutionary new sole design is an industry-disrupting advance in wet rubber traction. The Michelin Outdoor Extreme outsole offers 25% better abrasion resistance and a resounding 43% improvement in wet rubber traction over the competition. Using Michelin tire geometry, it offers a wider footprint for stability, a higher ratio of surface contact, and a lug pattern that reduces shock and improves pressure distribution. The two-layer midsole has a co-molded ESS plate that provides improved stud retention and torsional stability. Orvis partnered with OrthoLite® to create a 3D molded X25 insole designed for high-impact sports, delivering maximum comfort and arch support. An industry-first cast PU upper eliminates seams while providing a zoned cage for added stability, grip, and extreme abrasion resistance without the added bulk. The boot is higher cut for ankle support and lined with closed-cell foam. Scratch rubber at the toe cap and heel for abrasion resistance, an oversized heel pull for easier on-and-off, and tightly woven laces reduce broken laces. In shadow. Built with an athletic fit, the PRO Wader uses an extremely durable proprietary 4-layer Cordura® fabric shell in the upper and 5-layer Cordura fabric shell in the lower legs for the best in class abrasion and puncture resistance. Low profile seam construction and a gusseted crotch enhance movement and seam strength. Modern anatomically correct neoprene booties have less bulk with a true “sock” feel and are more comfortable inside wading boots, while the streamlined PU reinforced mesh gravel guard covers the boot tightly and completely eliminates drag and water collection.Convenience features include an external storage pocket with YKK AquaGuard® water-resistant zipper to keep essentials dry and prevents loss. Rubberized tabs on suspenders and front pocket daisy chain for tool docking, offer multiple locations for essentials and eliminate chance of puncturing waders or losing tools. Fly patch on front pocket for quick changes and drying. Large four-way stretch power mesh interior pocket expands to fit larger items yet stays out of the way when empty. Kangaroo-style fleece-lined handwarmer pockets with YKK AquaGuard water-resistant zippers. Removable OrthoLite® knee pads use the same technology found in our PRO Boot insole for optimal comfort and rebound. Removable accessory pocket allows for quick access to gear and offers the features of a small pack. Adjustable elastic suspenders with opposing buckles for waist-high conversion. Interior hook-and-loop patch accommodates our Orvis waterproof pocket (8G3H sold separately). The PRO Wader is the most durable, abrasion-resistant, and feature-rich wader we've ever built. Built with exclusive 100% CORDURA® fabric with four layers in the upper and five layers in the lower, the addition of a TIZIP® Masterseal waterproof zipper tested for more than 200 days, provides a remarkable level of combined convenience and performance. In the upper are split fleece-lined handwarmer pockets, two external storage pockets with YKK AquaGuard® coated zippers, and split Hypalon daisy chain for tool docking. Inside are two internal storage pockets for fly boxes and accessories. Adjustable elastic suspenders with opposing buckles for waist-high conversion. The five-layer lower incorporates removable OrthoLite® X25 knee pads, PU cage mesh gravel guards to eliminate drag and water collection, and anatomically correct neoprene booties. Athletic Fit.
