    Popularized by competition anglers, the France Fly follows a winning design formula: jig hook and bead, stiff tail, slim and segmented body, and hot spot. Simply put, this fly has become a workhorse for competition anglers.  We've had success with this pattern across water types and locations.  We can't imagine not having this fly in mulitple sizes, weights, and colors. This fly has loose hair around the thorax that simulate the legs of an aquatic insect, and a tungsten bead which will sink the nymph quickly into the deep zone where the big fish hang out.
